Roome Telecommunications Inc. (RTI) strives to provide consumers with accessible, easy-to-understand information.
Service Terms & Agreement
This Service Terms and Conditions Agreement ("Service Agreement") is entered into between Roome Telecommunications Inc. ("RTI") and the individual or entity ("Customer") named on the Customer Order Summary (COS) and sets forth the terms and conditions under which RTI will make available its Service. This Service Agreement governs both home and commercial Customers.
By using the Service, Customers agree to be bound by the terms of this Service Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Service Installation & Equipment
A one-time installation fee applies to all new service installations. RTI technicians will install all necessary equipment at the service address. Equipment provided by RTI remains the property of RTI. Customers are responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition and must not tamper with or modify RTI-provided equipment.
Customer is responsible for maintaining an appropriate environment (power, physical protection) for RTI equipment. RTI's limited one-year warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship in RTI Equipment, but does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow RTI's guidelines.
Service Terms & Payment
Monthly service fees are billed in advance. Payment is due on the date specified in the COS. RTI reserves the right to suspend or terminate service for non-payment. Prices are subject to change with appropriate notice as specified in the COS.
Acceptable Use
Customers may not use the Service to:
- Transmit unlawful content, including threats of physical harm, child pornography, or copyrighted material without authorization
- Store or distribute software containing viruses, trojans, or other malicious tools
- Engage in activities that degrade network performance for other users
- Transmit spam or unsolicited bulk email
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written authorization from RTI
RTI may block traffic or terminate service if a Customer violates these acceptable use requirements.
Privacy
RTI's Privacy Policy is incorporated into this Agreement by reference. RTI may monitor network traffic to maintain service quality and comply with legal requirements.
Limitation of Liability
RTI'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MONTHLY SERVICE FEE PAID BY CUSTOMER IN THE MONTH THE CLAIM AROSE. RTI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA. RTI IS NOT LIABLE FOR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS BEYOND ITS REASONABLE CONTROL.
Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement upon notice as specified in the COS. RTI may terminate immediately for violation of this Agreement, non-payment, or illegal use of the Service. Upon termination, Customer must return all RTI equipment in good working condition.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Benton County, Oregon.
